Aged Stone

There is beauty in aging. The aged stone cake design reflects what we find in aging of all sorts. Carved walls from artisans around the world, naturally aged stone in a cool, quiet forest, the wrinkled face from a history of joy, laughter and pain.

Using bas relief, sculpting, painting, sugar flowers, and crepe flowers, I will work closely with you to design the perfect aged stone cake.  

Cakes come with a glass heirloom cake stand from a century old company, Mosser Glass, based in Cambridge, Ohio.

Following the French theory of baking, Scarlett’s cakes are not-too-sweet and incredibly decadent. All cake fillings, buttercreams and ganaches are made in-house, using organic and farmers market ingredients whenever possible.
