Ideal for couples seeking a one-of-a-kind aesthetic, the design captures the subtle variations and natural weathering of real stone. Tones can range from soft, pale hues that suggest gentle erosion and patina, to deeper, moodier shades that emphasize depth and contrast. The result is an elegant, organic finish that feels both historic and intimately personal.

BAS RELIEF, HAND-PIPING & FLORALS

This is a classic style featuring delicate bas relief and small sculpted florals that lend a timeless, refined character. Subtle embossing can be added to enhance texture and depth, with the option to increase or decrease the number of design elements depending on how ornate or restrained you prefer the finished piece to appear. The composition reads particularly elegantly in white or cream, where soft shadows and highlights accentuate the sculptural details and maintain an understated, sophisticated look.

PROCESS

  • Consultation We discuss your aesthetic, color palette, venue, guest count, and flavor preferences.

  • Design I create a style board, then refine details until the design is exactly right.

  • Tasting A curated tasting lets you choose the cake flavors. You’ll receive a box of three (3) 4” cakes (4-6 servings per cake) | $65, to share with family and friends.

  • Execution On the wedding day, your couture cake is assembled and finished, on site when needed, to ensure a flawless presentation.

  • Scarlett has studied French pastry for over 15 years and has perfected her recipes. Following the French theory of baking, Scarlett’s cakes are not-too-sweet, yet incredibly decadent.

    Cakes are made with fresh ingredients and alternative flours like sweet rice, tapioca, teff, potato and sorghum flours that taste just like wheat based cakes but are safe for Celiac Disease.

    *DAIRY FREE CAKES AVAILABLE made with alternative milks for the sponge and chocolate ganache.

    The cake fillings are made in-house, using organic and farmers market ingredients whenever possible. Each cake is filled with cremeux, ganaches, fruit coulis or salted caramel. The outside finish is chocolate ganache plus design.
